Visual Basic

Its a general question, but since I’m new at this, I have to ask.

I would like to know if Visual Basic Programming is a generic language, if so, what about using VB in Access???

In line with that question, if I want to program in VB, do I need the VB v.6??? or can i use the one that comes with the Access???

My ultimate goal would be have an intranet for my database, and if someone could give me a helpful directions to do more research on it, that would be great. I’m using IIS 5.0 with Win2k Server and Access 2000. I know for dynamic html, it uses ASP, I know html, but not ASP.

Thanks for the help.
