Was this(such) not the cause of 911 attack?

I heard a discussion those days on CNN about free information on the internet and flight simulator softwares were the causes of the 911 attack. ( like http://techstuff.wikidot.com/flightsimulator )
Has there been a resolution on this say by limiting information on the net or so.
