Web Interface to Access 97 Database

I have an Access 97 database of which I published a web-based form deployed through the Intranet for data-entry purposes. I have run into the problem of users editing the existing records.

I want the form to open in Add mode so the end-users can only input into the database and not see any existing data. Is this possible in Access 97?
