What are some Best in Class small business document imaging/managm packages

I only have experience with a large scale EMC ApplicationXtender deployment. I am shopping for a scaled down version for a business incubator office. The solution would need to be usable by multiple businesses, yet keep the records separate,and be easily accessible.
