What are the certifications that will br

I am worried about which direction to take in obtaining certifications/experience in the IT world. As with anyone I’m seeking the path which offers the biggest salary and rewards. I’m 25 and have no job related IT experience as of yet but am attending a tech school. I live in the Bay Area of California. What are the certifications that someone like me should try to obtain? What kind of salary can I expect to get for those certifications?
