What is easy NT 4 setup netowrk info on

I have a NT 4 workstation that need to be
part of macintosh net work, what is there
about eh apple network I should know
first for easy setup?

I’ve tried an manual IP, subnet and default
gateway and DHCP and still can’t access
the network!
