What is “Trixie”? How do I get rid of it?

When I try to open any folder on desktop, A pop up occurs trying to install Trixie , says it can’t because files can’t be found, I cancel operation twice before it disappears. I’m not connected to internet when this occurs. Windows XP sp2. Thanks
