I was wondering what education path might be better. First I can get an A.S. in computer network systems engineering which is a program at my community college and it is in partner with Cisco Systems (Cisco Academy). This program has a lot of hands on with Microsoft/Linux and working with Cisco products. This programs prepares you for CCNA and MSCE certs as well as A+ and Network+ and others I can’t remember right now.
Or the second option is I can transfer next semester to a Cal State University for a B.S. in information Systems with a full minor in business administration. The A.S would take one year and the Bachelors about 2 years or so. Should I just skip the A.S. and get the bachelors or would the hands on approach with the certs and A.S. with possibly a B.S. down the road be better?
