When a page breaks in Firefox it stays broken – eternal 404, help?

Hey all,

I’m having some issues with a script on a page getting axed for being a resource jerk. When this happens, the visitor sees an error. It’s a long story, but that error gets replaced by Drupal with the internal Drupal 404 “no such animal” page.

The problem is that once the page breaks for someone in 3.5.x, it stays broken. Refreshing the page or re-clicking the original link instantly loads the 404 – no attempt seems to be made to hit the original page.

I have cleared the cache multiple times and restarted Firefox and the workstation. Doesn’t seem to care. Any ideas?
