When I open a new document in Word 2007 I get a saved document.

Somehow I saved a document or formatted it accidentally so that every time I try to open Word for a new document I get the saved document. I tried to delete the text in the saved document to no avail. How do I undo this. I’d like to be able to open to a new document and get a blank page right now that is not happening.
