Who to train new employee.

I know I have seen threads on this before, but can’t seem to to find any of them.
Does anyone have any courses they recommend to train new employees with no experience for tax preparation – primarily individuals?
I know a lot of on the job training will be necessary, but I think a classroom introduction would help. My local CPA society offers a 1 day class for new tax staff in December, but I know various organizations like the the NATP and other organizations have programs that might work. Would even an H&R Block or Liberty Tax class be a good idea?
