Why is my project doing this?!?

I have a simple report card project writen in vb.net. When the user fills in the information and clicks on my asp button to submit, it inserts it into a table and sends me an email with the information inserted. The email works fine and sends me one copy of what was inserted, but the insert statement is running twice, giving me duplicate inserts…ie line 114 and line 115 are identical, line 116 and 117 are identical…etc. any ideas?
