Why is the Explorer error happening?

When I close Windows Explorer, I get the following error message:

iexplorer.exe Application Error
The instruction at “0x5ff3cbc2” referenced memory at “0x70d05668”. The memory could not be “read”.

It is more of a nuisance than anything else. Any ideas?
