win95 wont copy CD’s content?

Ive gone back to trying to reinstall windows 95 on my laptop (single core @ 1.5 GHz, 512mb ram, and and intel gpu). When trying to setup the hdd before installing, i used a boot CD and used it to format my old partition and then proceeded to create a folder on the C drive to hold all of the CD’s content. My problem is that im not able to copy all the content. when i type “copy r:\ it only copies 2 files the readme.txt and the setup.exe” to copy the files to c:\win95 (I am in this directory when I enter the copy command). How or what do I need to type so that all the content of the windows 95 setup CD are copied to the main drive (C drive) into the win95 folder I created?
