Windows 7 CD cant find installation to repair?

I recently deleted Ubutntu wich was on a different HDD but setup as a dual boot. I restarted and booted to my windows 7 CD to repair the mbr. The cd showed the windows 7 installation. I wind to the repair command prompt and ran:
– bootrec/fixmbr
– bootrec/fixboot
– bootrec/rebuildbcd
I rebooted and windows would start. I went back to the CD and now it shows that the windows installation isnt there. Is there any chance i can fix this? I have some important data on the drive and I would rather not reinstall windows. Please help.
