Windows 7 restore points

by cbrewer8840 . Updated 11 years, 8 months ago

I was infected with the CtyptoWall virus. All of my files are encrypted. I understand that the virus deleted all of my restore points. I have used R-Studio to recover the restore points and need to get them back into the System Volume Information directory. I have found System Restore Explorer and it is a nice app. However, when I copy the restore points to SVI directory they are not recognized as RP. Is there a method to mount the recovered restore points from an external drive or somehow get to explore them?
