Windows 98 (2nd) & Apple G4 System

I have an Ethernet Hub with Category 5 cables attached to an Apple G4 system as well as a Dell Dimension PC running Windows 98 (2nd). How do I get these two systems to see each other (without Server software)? The LEDs on the Hub indicate packet traffic at 100 Mhz.
