windows able to detect hard disk(shown in notification area) not in mycomp

hello,,

i have wd hard disk which is being used since 2 yrs..
since 2-3 days im facing problem with the hard disk.
windows able to detect hd(shows to eject hard disk) but not visible in my computer.
i checked for it in device management. its saying uninitialized some times and some times nothing.

how to get it repaired with or without data.. plz help me..
