Windows Mobile Contacts Deleted while creating a backup

Hello All,
While a creating a backup of the contacts and SMS’s on my Windows mobile 6, I used an available tool called “PPCPimBackup.exe”. Now all the contacts on my phone are not visible, they seem to have got deleted. When I tried to restore from the backup file, though it restores my SMS’s, it does not restore the contacts. I have lost all the contacts. Please help me out.
