windows protection error

i have a question how can you fix the windows protection error when i try to start the computer in normal mode it comes up with windows protection error but it will only come up in safe mode i tried to use the compaq system restore disk but it is not the right disk it is asking for a 12 digit code but there is only 10 digits on the whole computer i don’t know how to fix the computer can you please help me
