Windows Remote Assistance issue

XP Media Center OS – AT&T DSL connection — when a friend sends a saved RA file via email (Hotmail) the file does not contain their IP address – it only contains their 192…. address.

Obviously, it will not connect. Why isn’t it inserting the IP address.
