Windows XP pro anti-virus 09! (ya that one)

it seems I have a problem, I’m over at a friends and he has this virus. no problem I thought, I’ve uninstalled it before but this one seems different. I can’t get Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware to run this time around. the program fails right away. any ideas?
