Windows XP resuming windows screen

Ive held down the off bottom 10-20 sec and then pushed f12 to do a diagnostic then prompt to check memory. Its doing so now. But when the diagnostic was finished it said everything was ok and to push “ok” to reboot. How can I get out of this screen and fix my laptop. It’s a 5 year old windows xp dell
