XP Files and Settings wizard

Hi,

Files and settings for a 98se pc were exported to network drive. The pc was then reformatted and XP pro installed.

I’ve tried importing using the Files and Settings wizard on both the upgraded PC and a New PC but the wizard just hangs half way through. I’ve left it running overnight but same result.

I really need to get some of these files as the user has told me she saved lots of important stuff on her desktop! Sure, she should have been saving to her user folder but I’m at fault too as I didn’t double check.

Any help would be greately appreciated!!
