XP profiles

I have XP computers that could potentially have 1000 users each. I use Deep Freeze so nothing is stored locally, including profiles. Each login takes the default and creates a new profile. Can I prevent it from creating new profiles? It takes FOREVER to finish a login. I’m using group policies on Server 2003, but have not run across anything helpful in there.
