XP SP2 ports config

Hello people,
I installed SP2 recently in my home pc
but i?m facing one issue with one peer2peer
application (Warez).The program detected automatically the SP2 and requested if I wanted
him to onfigure the port automatically.I did so.
Didn?t worked.Them i tried to configure the port manually in XP firewall with exceptions , but seems to be ok.I cannot connect to peers with this situation, However with other applics i got running (emule) everything is ok.Anybody encountered this issue?How can i solve it.Uninstall is not an option, i already did it and it works.
