XP to XP communication

2 XP computers through Linksys, when I go through the MS Window Network> Workgroup> “the other computer” I always get guest login so I can put the password for guest, the gust part is grayed out, so I can’t even change it.
I computer property> remote > I allow other people to get in , in both XPs.
