as long as im here, can anyone answer me this?
in ten years time, are we going to see a software revolution? more and more people are using Unix based systems now rather than xp due the massive amounts of improvements done to the basic system over the last 10 years. Does anyone think, assuming Unix developers have the money, that Unix itself will one day take over from Microsoft as the primary OS software distributer for the world? assuming of course that might facts are right and Microsoft is indeed the primary distributer!
just something else to tickle your fancy, although Linux was created and distributed using the GNU General Public License, does anyone think that 1 day this operating system will grow to its full potential and somehow emcompass both Unix and Microsoft? especially since Linux is being used on more and more server based systems?
