yvidd.exe

I have a client that has a pc running Windows 98. Whenever he tries to start a program, he receives an error box with the message “Windows needs a file yvidd.exe to execute programs”. He said that norton quarantined a virus file, and ever since that happened, he receives the above error. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this besides reinstalling Windows 98?
