A Political Bouquet

In the very tight Virgina Senate race between Webb (Dem) and Allen (Rep), Allen has graciously conceded even though he could ask for a recount. Last count showed Webb lead by about 7,200 voted out of 2.3 million cast – a pretty narrow margin.

Now Allen did lead until he used the “macaca” word about a Webb supporter.

Edit: somehow missed my point.

But I would salute Allen as a class act for conceding graciously.

Webb seems to be a fairly conservative Democrat. He was secretary of the Navy under Reagan.
