Access 2003 error

I have a user that is having problems opening a database. The database is split and copied on C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Databases and data is on the network. The user is getting the Microsoft Jet engine database cannot open “K:\Database_Name\Database_Table.mdb”. It is already opened exclusively by another user or need permission to view its data. I can open the file logged on with the user’s username and password from my desk, when I go to their desk, I am unable to login as me or them. There are other users who are using the exact database. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
