Access ADP form synchronizations

by brianmullins . Updated 19 years, 1 month ago

I’m having a problem getting a complex form to keep the subforms sync’d in an Access ADP file. Here’s the scenario:

Main form has a list box and a subform. List box contains a list of current job openings. Subform contains information about the posting that is selected in the listbox. Also contains 2 subforms. The first subform show a list of employees that have bid on that particular job. Everything works great with these forms. It’s the second subform that I’m having trouble with.

The two sub-subforms are on separate pages of a tab control. The idea is that I want to be able to select one of the employees that bid for this job, click on the other tab and see a list of all the jobs that employee bid on.

Currently, I can’t get this to work. I’ve tried various coding techniques to set a field on the first sub-form and refresh the second sub-subform (with the Input Parameters filled in correctly), but it hasn’t worked yet.

Anybody have any hints or suggestions?

Thanks,

Brian
