Administration Tools

How do I remove windows 2000 administration tools from 2000 domain controller so I can upgrade the domain controller to 2003. Microsoft KB 325379 suggest that you do this before 2003 upgrade and said to do it through add/remove programs, I know that it something simple but I but I can?t figure it out.
