Adobe Professional Won’t Install–Is it Firefox?

Hello..so I downloaded the Adobe Professional 8 on my home computer and when I try to install it, it says ‘please wait while we configure..”blah blah..and nothing happens. I downloaded it at work and it was just fine. I’m working from home this week and need to be able to edit a pdf brochure that I’m working on. I’m already a day behind because I can’t get this crap to work. Any suggestions? Thanks. 🙁
