Are my packets getting lost?

We’re on an NT 4.0 token-ring network using Novell servers (IPX). We’re having performance trouble on a particular ring. At first it appeared Novell server problems but we don’t think so any more.

I’d like to eliminate lost packets from the potential problems. I need some fairly simple software to test this. I’ve tried NT Network Monitor, but I’m not having much luck with it.

Preferably the software will be free and run on NT server or workstation. Linux is okay too, but I’d prefer NT dueto the setup time factor.
