Are you getting a life, or loosing a business?

Hello,
I’m in a quandary of sorts and am looking for some input. Of course you’ll not know all of the nuances of my business operations, but I’m looking for more of a general consensus on this.

Over the past couple of years my business has declined. I have put the primary reason to the state of the economy, but now I’m starting to wonder if my seeking more personal time away from the business has caused more harm than good.

What’s your take on a small business owner taking 2 steps back to seek a life vs staying day to day in their business after 30+ years in business?
