There are many who believe that the end of mankind is near and that we are at fault because we use carbon for energy.

Deep asks if I am willing to bet all.

Yes. I am willing to bet all that global warming, while occurring, will not be a real nor a sudden problem. We have about one degree of warming in the last one hundred years. Previous warming cycles have seen average temperature shifts of from 1 to 4 degrees.

What about the rest of you? Is this a good bet? Would you be willing to bet that this risk is actually small compared to the wide variety of real threats that are out there?
