Asus A7N8X-E, SATA, Ghost 2003

I have an
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe BIOS 1013
Maxtor 250GB SATA
Seagate 36GB SCSI
Windows XP Pro CD is original Full Retail without SP’s.
I would like to use Norton Ghost 2003 to copy the WindowsXP from the Seagate to the Maxtor. However when I boot off the Ghost floppies it does not see the SATA drive. I tried to load the Si2112.sys as a DEVICE in the config.sys but that caused the computer to hang. What else should I try?? Different program maybe?
I know and expect the HAL to not work and that I will need to re-install Windows XP Pro, but I need my data. And I don’t want to re-install all the Windows programs. I hope that I will re-install XP Pro and I will get all the Program Files will still be in-tact.
