ATI Video Card

I just loaded Win2000 professional and when it came to loading my video drivers I ran into a problem. After doing some research I found that when they put out the video card it was not made compatible with NT or 2000 for that matter. I have an ATI Rage Fury Maxx and was wondering if there was some way of installing a patch or something else to make my card compatible with my OS?
