Batch Conversion Wizard.Wiz won’t convert my Wordperfect files

I have been trying to use the Batch Conversion Wizard.Wiz util in word 2003 to convert older Wordperfect 5.x file to word. I keep getting and error “Word cannot complete the conversion of this file”

Any suggestion would be most helpful
