The following is a 3 part question. Beavis will give his points to the first person to provide a working solution.

1. First of all, Beavis is looking for a way to hide users’ home directories from other network users. Beavis needs very specificdetails explaining how this can be done either with a script, User Manager for Domains, or both. Also, explain whether this will work for both Windows 95/98 and NT.

2. Beavis want users to automatically map to their drives and not to the share point which contains all of the drives for everyone like User Manager for Domains sets it up by default. For example, they do not have to open their home directory to save anything in it because it is the actual mapping.

3. Beavis wants the home directory to be the default “save as” and “open” location. Beavis realizes that certain applications like Word have their own define working directories, however Beavis wants to override this either with a script or a policy.

Where possible, please provide actual examples of what you are talking about. Thanks.

P.S., Please don’t send Beavis any emails. . . He hates computers. . .
