Here’s what I did for the past two days:
1)Run the boot up wizard from Norton Ghost 8.3 to creat a network boot disk. Since there is no floppy drive in the server, I used the USB to copy all the files including the NIC driver which is Broadcom 440x.
2)I used the program WinImage to pack all the files copied from the USB to make a image file. I also included the two files: OAKCDROM.SYS file and MSCDEX.EXE in the root directory.
3)At one point, I used the boot CD without the NIC driver. I could boot it up to the ghost menu. But I couldn’t see the Ghostcast menu to connect to the ghost server to write the image too. But when I packed the image with the NIC driver in it. I couldn’t even boot it up with te computer to capture the image of my computer.
Please help me out here and any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
