Brightstor Arcserve 9.0 – back-up to external hhd

We are using Brightstore ARCserve Version 9.0 (Build 2200), and we want to backup everything to a USB connected external harddisk. Only if the job has backup around 6 GB the job crashed. I cannot find why he chrashed, because that’s not in a log or something. Please help
