Ok I have a problem, in less than 2 months its my first wedding anniversary. I thought I was going to get away with getting him a present until I came home in August but he’s just informed me that he’s coming over to visit me for the week over our anniversary. So basically I need to find something for him.
Now it just so happens that we were talking about his ex bitch the other day, and when she found out she was pregnant she made him get sell loads of his stuff for money to get the baby stuff, this stuff he had to sell included his limited edition see-through LP single thingy of Queen-Invisible Man!!! So anyways cutting a long story short she made him sell his bass too. I never knew he could even play the bass, I know hes mad into guitars cos hes got two already but I didnt know he liked bass, apparently bass is his preference but as its more expensive its something that he never replaced!
Anyway, hes a mad MAD Paul McCartney fan, and said he has always loved Sir Paul’s Violin bass, so of course being the perfect wife 😉 I checked out the prices online, now heres where I need the help.
Firstly anybody know of a good place to go to buy the Hoffner Violin Bass, and secondly what is the difference between the one i saw for $2000 and the replica one (which still says its made by Hoffner)that I saw for 200 pound apart from the obvious that ones cheaper??
I hope someone out there can help as the only person I know who can answer this questions is hubby, and I cant ask him!!
