Cannot reboot XP home after using Nortin Ghost 2003

I cannot reboot XP after using Norton Ghost. At the 1st atsge of creating an image Ghost asked to reboot into Ghjost Dos programme. This doesn’t work but neither does the return to windows. Tryed a full reboot, but it keeps booking PC dos screen?
