Server: MS Exchange 5.5
Sp: Sp4
OS: NT 4.0 SP5
After I created a new Address book view under a address book container and modified the permission, I can’t change the permission of the container anymore.
Whenever I wish to modify the permission, I hit a message even thought I login as exchange service account, stated::” You do not have the permissions required to complete the operation.
Microsoft Exchange Directory ID no: DS_E_INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_RIGHTS”
I’am not sure if the problem related to articles Q262773: Permisions Tab Should Not Display Inherited Permissions and Q248398: Restricting Permission to Address Book Views found in Technet.
If yes, this problem should be fixed in SP4 which my server has been installed with it.
In the permission tab of the address book view container property, the inherited permissions are displayed with Exchange service having service account permission. Should the inherited permissions be displayed? How to I confirm whether inheritance is turned off?
I’ve tried to enable the Heuristics bit in raw mode of MS Exch. server administrator, but I hit the same message, seems like I have insufficient access rights!
Anyone can advise?
