Changed from Domain to Workgroup – can’t get in

Have been working with a company laptop, getting it set up the way I like to, etc.

Windows XP Pro, Compaq nc6400

The usual security login with username and pw.

We are on a domain and at home I am on my own wireless. In order in get into the network we go via VPN. Obviosly, at the office we are plugged in to the network.

Now here is the problem. As an experiment I decided to switch the Domain over to my Workgroup so that I could load some personal files directly from my personal computer on my home wireless. When I rebooted the laptop so the change could take effect. I can no longer login.

The only other option I have is to wait to get back to work and plug into to office network in the hopes it will let me login.

Any work arounds would be appreciated, otherwise I think I’ll have to re-image.

Have been through all the F8 options.
