changing hostname

I am using Redhat 7.2. i have lost the program that configure network properties (kdenetwork).

How do I change the machine hostname ?
How can I change the prompt to follow the new hotname ??
For example the old prompt [root@oldhost /]#
The new prompt should be [root@newhost /]#

Any help are welcomed.
