Connecting to Apache Server Host from Windows Vista machine

I have an Apache server running on a Windows LAN. XP machines can connect to the server, but the Vista machine cannot. The Vista machine can access shares on the server through the network function, but will not open the web page in IE. Need help. I’m new to Vista.
