Converter box

I have a RCA DTA800 box in Dallas, Texas. I had been able to get some channels, such as ABC (Ch.8) with analog, but once the box is used, I lose that channel. What can I do to get it back? I had thought that the channels I could get with analog would in the very least still be viewable…
